Comrades:

This year, as we commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Victory in World War II,

I am pleased to extend an invitation to each and every Legionnaire to join in the

94th Anniversary Warrior’s Day Parade. The Parade will move off at 10:30 a.m. on

22d August, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario at the Canadian National Exhibition (details

attached).

The Warrior’s Day Parade, the longest continuous Parade of its type, reminds us of

the importance of the personal sacrifices made by members of the Canadian Armed

Forces in protecting the freedoms we all enjoy.

This tradition for honouring our Veterans, which began after World War I, still

continues today for those who have served and paid the supreme sacrifice and for

those who returned home, to Canada, to a hero’s welcome.

Celebrating the 70’h Anniversary of Victory in World War II, if you participate,

will be an experience you will never forget.
